NPCIH plundering people in name of interfaith harmony

Published on: September 2, 2016 7:00 PM

ISLAMABAD: A gang of fraudsters is operating in the federal capital with impunity, to plunder Pakistanis inside and outside the country in the name of interfaith harmony, owing to the failure of the law enforcement agencies in laying hands on them.

This gang of looters and plunderers has plundered the citizens in the guise of an illegal institution: National Peace Council for Interfaith Harmony (NPCIH) Government of Pakistan and they are extending the scope of their illegal activities to other parts of the country.

Well-placed sources told Daily Times that an institution is operating in the name of NPCIH Government of Pakistan, at the Habib Bank building Al-Karam Plaza in Sector F-11 Markaz Islamabad and its website has been developed as well.

The pictures of alleged office bearers of this institution including Ghulam Mustafa Ansari and others are also uploaded on the website.

With reference to this institution it has been stated that it is such an institution of the Government of Pakistan which is allegedly being sponsored by te ministry of interior and the ministry of religious affairs. The facts however are otherwise.

Sources told Daily Times that the central chairman of this institution, Ghulam Mustafa Ansari, belongs to Faisalabad and is middle pass only.

Ghulam Mustafa Ansari and Muhammad Aslam have deprived the citizens of millions of rupees under the pretext of appointing them in this institution. They have organised functions in the name of their fake and illegal institution in different cities and have issued a fake notification of office bearers in every city.

It is worth mentioning here that every office bearer of the NPCIH is deceived into tricks that he can display the green number and blue light on cars and in return a hefty amount is grabbed from them.

Sources further said that Ghulam Mustafa Ansari poses himself to be a close relative of former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali and arranges photo sessions with high ranking government officers at functions.

This way he is plundering the people. The overseas Pakistanis are contacted from the platform of the NPCIH and offers of top posts in the NPCIH are extended to them in return for heavy donations. This group of fraudsters is succeeding in its nefarious designs.

When contacted by Daily Times to ascertain his stance, Ghulam Mustafa Ansari became confused and denied his links with the NPCIH saying ” I have no relevance whatsoever with the NPCIH nor are we using the name of the Government of Pakistan.

When Daily Times sought the view point of responsible officers of the interior minister then a section officer of the admn section, Muhammad Arif, said that the then interior minister Rehman A Malik had set up the council in the name of the NPCIH during the PPP government and later it was banned. The institution which is working in the name of the council is illegal.

When contacted, the Director Media, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Imran Siddiqui said his ministry or the Government of Pakistan had nothing to do with the institution.
