Government of Sindh instructed that if an individual is suffering from fever or has come from Iran, China or any country hit by the deadly virus, should not come to watch the Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches at National Stadium so that the healthy people may not be affected. This initiative is taken as a precautionary measure due to coronavirus outbreak in the metropolitan city. According to the sources, a medical panel will also be accompanying the police at the checkpoints. Spectators will be scanned while entering the stadium by a medical panel. Govt appealed the fans to cooperate with the medical team. Moreover, a private company has offered Sindh government help in installing the handwashing points at the stadium for sanitizing purpose., Furthermore, the medical experts have confirmed that it is not mandatory to wear a mask if fans are coming to watch the match. A medical team will be on high alert if any emergency occurs during the matches. Ongoing Pakistan Super League having 5 matches which are scheduled to play in National Stadium, Karachi from 12th to 17th of March 2020. Notably, it is understood that the PCB was willing to abide by any decision taken by the government, but after a Sindh cabinet meeting on Tuesday, it was agreed that all the remaining games in Karachi will go ahead according to plan, with strict precautions taken. So far, no overseas player has raised any concerns over the virus, but teams have been exercising caution.
