Lahore-based pret designer eyes nationwide presence

Published on: September 28, 2016 4:11 AM

LAHORE: Lahore-based fashion designer and entrepreneur Saadia Asad says that her brand, Noor, would soon be opening its stores all over the country.

“No matter where you are in Pakistan, you will have access to our product,” she asserted during an exclusive interview with Daily Times.

The young fashion designer was of the view that the current level of competitiveness in the market was commendable. “Even though there is a mushroom growth of new designers, if your product is average or run of the mill, you can no longer survive. The reason why Noor has edge over the current market is dye to our one-of-a-kind aesthetic and affordable pricing,” she added.

She believes that management of time and resources is of utmost importance in order to run a successful business, adding that establishment of a competent team not only makes the working easy, but also helps her stay one step ahead of the market.

Saadia said she envisions providing beautiful, high quality products to the customers at the most cost-effective prices, besides creating worldwide access to the unique product line at Noor. “I am more focused on expanding the range of my product. After establishing a name in the market, it is important to make our presence felt among the leading brands of the country,” she said, adding that her brand is ready to jolt the market with quality products.

Saadia Asad, a mother of two, said she is very much a family woman and enjoys whatever free time she gets with her husband and children, who according to her are her pillars of strength. “My biggest inspiration lies in the namesake of my brand, my darling daughter Noor, as well as my mother who means the world to me and taught me how to survive in this cutthroat environment,” she mentioned.
