RAWALPINDI: The dengue fever outbreak in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi has reached to a drastic level as 69 more patients were reported to have been admitted in various hospitals within last 24 hours. The viral fever has spread with enormous speed and the precautionary measures adopted by the authorities are nowhere to be found in this regard. According to Ministry of Health, 39 patients were admitted in Holy Family Hospital, 25 patients were rushed to Benazir Bhutto Hospital while five patients were reported to have been admitted to District Headquarters Hospital. The toll of patients affected with the viral outbreak has reached to a drastic figure of 1704 during this year. Moreover, three deaths from dengue fever have also been confirmed in Rawalpindi District.
