PAF lays foundation of a modern hospital, mosque in Alamabad

The PAF, in collaboration with Rashidabad Memorial Welfare Organization (RMWO), laid foundation stone of a 200-bed state-of-the art hospital and a grand mosque at Alamabad Welfare Project near Swabi.

Asad Qaiser, Speaker National Assembly along with Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force unveiled the plaque of these magnificent projects. This project has been initiated for the welfare of the people of KPK in general and for the local populace of Swabi in particular. Air Commodore Shabbir Ahmed (Retd), President Rashid Memorial Welfare Organization (RMWO), briefed the guests about the salient features of Alamabad Welfare project.

Addressing at the occasion, the Air Chief said that besides providing an impregnable aerial defence of the country, PAF has always shouldered the responsibility of nation building. He added that Rashidabad, a project by retired PAF officers, is a miracle indeed that every citizen of the country should visit and see it progressing rapidly. He further said, “I am confident that it will help in providing quality education and best available healthcare facilities’ to the people of this area and improve their living standards. Addressing the audience, the Speaker National Assembly acknowledged the sincere efforts of the Air Chief in this project. He further said, “I hope Alamabad project would usher in a new era of prosperity and progress in this area”. He also lauded the selfless contribution of the people of Nabi Kally for donating one thousand Kanal of land for the project.

The project is in line with the vision of PAF and RMWO, to set up model villages throughout the country by integrating all essential facilities in a well-knit mosaic so as to ensure a positive beneficial outflow to the needy rural folk-all under one roof.
