Sir: The recent report by Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has revealed PTI chairman Imran Khan, PML-N member and Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s son Hamza Shehbaz and PPP’s Faryal Talpur as the worst performing National Assembly members for the year 2015-16. The report has proven tall claims by Imran Khan wrong who always boasts of his performance and working. Mr. Khan, if being a member of National Assembly you have failed to do anything worthwhile then expecting anything else from you would be unwise. Perhaps Mr. Khan could do better by analysing the dwindling party position of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Although the news has raised the alarm bells for Imran Khan but it is equally depressing for Hamza Shehbaz as well who must follow the footsteps of his father in order to perform well next time. It is hoped that instead of confrontational politics, which are pushing the country towards chaos, anarchy, and social unrest, Mr. Khan would focus more on improving his performance. Only words will not do anything until they are followed by actions. SYED ALI QASIM Lahore
