Federal Ministers clash in the cabinet meeting

Special Advisor to Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq and Minister for Science Fawad Chaudhary on Tuesday were indulged in verbal duel during the federal cabinet meeting.

As per details garnered, federal cabinet huddle was presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan here in Islamabad. During the session, Firdous lodged complain against attitude of some ministers regarding PEMRA notification and the backlash it faced.

She went on to say that government members acted on PEMRA’s decision as they belong to opposition.

“No one was taken into confidence over the [PEMRA’s] decision”, replied Fawad.
