She appealed the RPO and City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Faisal Rana to take action against the officials of Chowki Raneyal of Sadar Beruni Police Station and also issue instructions to the police to register FIR against the accused.

When contacted, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Abid who is an investigation officer of this case, he confirmed that he had received application but did not take any action yet.

When asked about the delay in registration of the FIR despite the passage of more than 10 days, he answered that he will not take any action against the accused.
