Sir: Despite many hurdles and an unstable path, the PTI-led Punjab government has completed its one year and the credit for this certainly goes to Punjab Chief Minister SardarUsmanBuzdar.
In contrast to this, the PTI-led Punjab government has made remarkable gains in different sectors. Theintroduction of SehatInsaf Card to provide standard health facilities to people living in abject poverty; establishment of Women Hostel Authority and Day Care Centers to facilitate the working women;Rural Accessibility Programme for better connectivity in rural areas and to accelerate the growth of agricultural production etc. all are testaments that welfare of masses is the top priority of the government.
The idea to establish shelter homes toprovide lodging facility to the poor, needy and homeless citizens; launch ofPunjab Ehsas Program to provide necessary socio-economic protection to the disfranchised sections of society all are ample proof of the government’s firm resolve to put the country on the right track.
The government isendeavoring hard to make Punjab a more peaceful and prosperous province and the role of Chief Minister is remarkable in making Punjab a progressive province. It is hoped that the strenuous efforts by the government will bear fruits in the days to come and that day is not so far when Pakistan in general and Punjab in particular will start making progress by leaps and bounds.
