It is worth mentioning that this is the first major release after the ban on Indian films was imposed in September, thus ending the dry spell for Pakistani cinemas.
“Lahore Se Aagey has already done fairly well and that is all it could do. Its performance was lower than expected but now it’s done.
Lahore Se Aagey is currently running in theatres along with Marvels Doctor Strange, but soon it will be replaced by another Pakistani movie “Dobara Phir Se” releasing over this weekend.
The movie revolves around Tara (Saba Qamar) and Moti (Yasir Hussain) who dramatically fell in love with each other. They both embark on an adventurous road trip, helping Moti reach Swat while in the heat of it all they realise that they were made for each other.
To sum up, situations in the movie do not seem connected with each other and looked quite ambiguous. The plot could have been improved with a little effort, while, (2015) Karachi Se Lahore was far better than its sequel.
The movie has been receiving mixed reviews from the audience but it didn’t make much money for its makers.
