LAHORE: Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi on Monday announced to name World Boxing Council (WBC) silver flyweight champion Muhammad Waseem as his franchise’s ambassador. He also announced a Rs. 2.5 million reward for Waseem, who recently defended his silver flyweight title against Philippines’ Giemel Magramo in Seoul, South Korea. “I hereby announce Rs. 2.5 million for World Boxing Champion Muhd Waseem. Waseem, known as ‘Falcon Khan’, is scheduled to arrive at Islamabad later in the day.
