The Secret Garden is the best book for children. It is written by Frances Hodgson Burnett. He has written many books and one of them is the secret garden. It was published in 2009.

The book, going by its name, revolves around a secret garden and a girl called Mary who is seven years old and lives with her uncle in England. Because her father worked for the English government and was always busy and her mother loved to visit the parties only. That was the main reason that her parents sent her in England. Mary was not happy in her uncle’s home because there was no any children to play and she was completely bored and missing the love of her father and mother.

Luckily, there was a beautiful garden in her uncle’s home which was locked. It was the garden of her uncle’s wife garden but she died that is why he locked it and did not allow anyone to go in that garden and no one tried or forced him to reopen it. Mary always looked the garden and wanted to go inside of the garden.

One day, Mary goes inside the garden and starts wondering here and there. During this time, she befriends a lot of people there. Once, she is playing with her friends when suddenly, she finds the key to the secret garden. It’s rustic and half buried in the soil, but Mary extracts it. She gets excited and unlocks the gate to the secret garden. She saw that the garden was completely destroyed because before ten years it was closed. After that Mary thought about the secret garden in complete night and she listened a crying sound. She was very much afraid and frightened that who was there. She went for searching, she saw a boy crying in a room. She asked the reason that why was he crying? The boy replied that no one accepted him because of his illness, the boy was crying. Mary encouraged the boy and the boy became her friend. Then Mary said about his father and mother. The boy said that his mother has died and his father thought that due to him his mother had died, so he did not give him anything. That was the reason that his father locked him in the room.

One day, Mary goes inside the garden and starts wondering here and there. During this time, she befriends a lot of people there. Once, she is playing with her friends when suddenly, she finds the key to the secret garden. It’s rustic and half buried in the soil, but Mary extracts it. She gets excited and unlocks the gate to the secret garden

Mary encouraged him and said him that she would make him like other boys and Mary told him about the secret garden. After that they became very closed friends and they used to visit there and played there. The boy name was Colin who was the son of the head of the garden and the garden was closed due to his mother.

Colin was very much happy that the garden was his mother’s last wish and he wanted to make the secret garden more beautiful. They were excited with their lives. Mr Craven was in England and he saw a dream that his wife told him that she was present in secret garden. Next day, he went there and wanted to visit the garden and his son was already present there.

Mr Craven, father of Colin went inside of the garden and saw Mary and his own son that they had changed the complete shape of the garden and that was just because of Mary. He apologized to his son that he did bad with him and locked him in the room and he accepted him as a son and thanked Mary for the kind support. They became together and tried to make the secret garden more beautiful and never wanted to lock it again.

The book is a great read and tells children how they can be happy and make good friends. It gives out a strong message to parents on ways they can take more care of their kids. They need the love and kind support of their parents so it’s their responsibility to provide them with love.
