RAWALPINDI: The district administration Rawalpindi has decided to launch several projects costing Rs 92 million for supplying potable water to Rawalpindi cantt areas. Sources said that a tubewell at the cost of Rs six million will be installed in Ahmadabad, Ward No 6, an underground water tank of two million gallons capacity at the cost of Rs 10 million will be constructed in the area of Army Public School, Marble Factory, Habib Colony, three filtration plants at the cost of six million rupees will be set up in British homes, Gulshan Iqbal and the Postal Colony, three filtration plants at the cost of Rs five million will be constructed in Jahaz Park, Koila Centre and Adam Jee Road and one filtration plant at the cost of Rs five million will be set up in Ward No 5 of Chungi No 22.
