A dispute over a plot, on Friday, gunned down three people in the limits of Hyderi Police Station. According to details, armed motorcyclists from two groups of Sangi community in Channa Village opened fire and killed two persons of the same family. Another passerby lost his life to the exchange of fire. The deceased were identified as Ayaz Ali Sangi (45), his nephew, Sajad Sangi(26) and a passerby Hafeezullah Gaad. On hearing the news, police reached the site and shifted bodies to Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for the fulfilment of legal formalities and postmortem. As per police sources, two groups of Sangi community had a dispute, which resulted in the incident. Afterwards, both groups remained highly alert and the area soon turned into a no-go zone. No case was registered till filing of this report. In another development, two youth died while another was injured when a speedy car hit their bike on Banguldero Bypass. They were identified as Ghaffar Jatoi, Sagheer Jatoi and Haq Nawaz Jatoi, all residents of Village Zangeja. Eyewitnesses told news sources that all three were seriously injured and rushed to CMCH where Ghaffar and Sagheer expired. The driver, Barkat Kalhoro, was arrested by the relevant police that took his car into custody. In yet another incident, a youth Abdul Nabi Tunio, resident of Village Darri Khushhal, near Kambar, was allegedly injured by his own pistol bullet. He was rushed to CMCH where he could not survive the wound. His relatives staged a protest demonstration in front of the CMCH Main Gate and alleged that Tunio had died due to the negligence of the duty doctors. They demanded action against the doctors.
