The book Khuda Aur Muhabbat by Hashim Nadeem has been read almost all over the world. His writings are famous because of the beautiful expression and uniqueness he puts in, all the while elaborating the chain of events in his books. Hashim Nadeem has written several books like Bachpan Ka December, Eman, Umeed Aur Muhabbat and Parizaad & Abdullah in which he has put in his utmost best. Most importantly his writings deal with the consequences of challenges faced by the people in their daily life and also it describe the importance of love and religion. The story revolves around Hammad and Eman. Hammad is the son of a rich man who meets Eman at a party, where he falls in love with her at the very first sight. But unfortunately, there is a big obstacle between them which is Eman’s family. Hammad’s family also doesn’t approve of their relationship and this is what makes Hammad very emotional. He leaves home and starts working at a railway station to make ends meet. However Eman asks him many times for going back his home but Hammad refuses. Eman is the girl with pure dignity who actually does not like talking with men but Hammad is the only man with whom she talks and shares her problems they love each other. The twist in this love story comes that Eman is already engaged with her cousin but still she loves Hammad. Similarly, she suffers a lot in her life because of her love and this relationship and this makes her very ill. She only passes the last days of her life, and when Hammad comes to know about Eman’s condition, he came to see her. Eman falls severely ill and spends her day lying in bed and refusing to talk to anyone. But when Hammad comes to her, she opens her eyes and just sees her for once and leaves the world. Sara and Hammad spend more time with each other and develop a bond over time. Sara accepts Islam also changes her name into Eman. Unfortunately Hammad has to leave London for some problems but he promises to Sara that he would be back his all friends of university very soon. This book ends with Hammad who wins the hearts of all students of his university and all of his class mates becomes very close to him because of his unique personality and honesty. His love for the people and teachers remain an example for everyone which Hashim denies in this book beautifully. The book mainly talks about love and faith and how these two factors contribute so strongly to a person’s life. Hammad’s way of loving people and preaching Islam shows that he’s a man of good character who keeps best wishes for everyone. His calmness and simplicity wins the hearts of all who’ve been with him and who know him. Thus, Nadeem’s expression throughout this novel will teach us that how actually love and religion are important in one’s life. These two attributes define someone’s morality. And he is such a writer who always presents the things as they are because his only purpose is to teach people about life, ignorance, knowledge and love.
