Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), on Monday, cautioned against the heatwave maintaining strength during the first four to five days of Ramazan. However, temperatures have been predicted to drop after the first week, which may offer some respite to those fasting in the country. PMD Director Zaheeruddin Babar noted that people must take precautions to remain safe from heatstrokes during the holy month. He added, “The weather is expected to get better by the second week of Ramazan with some northern areas also predicted to receive rain.” Meanwhile, weather experts have claimed of a mostly hot Ramazan with intermittent falls in temperature along with rain through the month.
