Published on: April 14, 2019 10:48 PM

Raja Singh, a member of the Legislative Assembly in the southern Indian state of Telangana would release a song on Rama Navami that is similar to ISPR song released on Pakistan Day this year.

Rama Navami is a Hindu religious event in India which is being celebrated on April 14 every year.

In tweet Raja Singh expressed his emotions that he dedicates this song to Indian Army.

He also posted video in which he was singing the song in a studio.

Pakistan Army’s media wing ISPR released this song which was sung by Pakistani singer Sahir Ali Bagga.

The lyrics of song are changed from ‘Pakistan Zindabad‘ to ‘Hindustan Zindabad‘.

Singh informed his followers in a tweet and Director General Inter Services Public Relations Major General Asif Ghafoor replied his tweet, “Glad that you copied. But copy to speak the truth as well.”

Speak the truth said by DG ISPR in context of war situation in February this year.

India is claiming that their Air Force shoot down an f-16 air craft but they not a single evidence regarding shoot down.

International media has also reservations on India’s claim.

The “speak the truth” is in reference to Pakistan’s continued rejection of the Indian narrative that the Indian Air Force had downed a Pakistani F-16 fighter jet during a dogfight in February. Islamabad’s account of the escalation has been supported by international media reports, with US-based Foreign Policy magazine citing unnamed US defence officials to contradict the Indian claim.

Giving his reaction to the video, senior journalist Hamid Mir said the BJP lawmaker’s song was “not [a] copy but theft” and termed Singh’s rendition as “unimpressive”.
