The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People is an inspiring book that talks about setting principles in life. It reveals the real meaning of life. It’s a business and self help book written by Stephen Covey. The book was first published in 1989. It discusses the behaviour, team work, attitude, perforce, time management and many more which are the basic principles of an effective life. The book has sold more than a million copies all over the world since its first publication. Be proactive: Being proactive is simply taking responsibility because proactive people do not blame the situations, conditions or circumstances; rather they always find ways to blame themselves. They are depended on environment. If weather is good, they feel good. If isn’t, it effects their attitudes, behaviour, performance as well as they blame the weather. Stephen Covey greatly said, “I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions.” On the other hand, the proactive people are sincere with their duty and profession. Proactive people always take actions and work on them honestly. They know how to deal with situations? More interestingly, to be proactive it starts taking actions, accepting challenges, facing the difficulties with courage and determination and always do their best to take more responsibilities according to the situations. They apply such activities which make their future bright. Instead of creating problems, they try to find out the solution of the problems. Reactive people do not deal with circumstances rather they always ignore such things. But proactive people always try their best to be happier all the time. Begin with the end in mind: Always have a mission and a goal in your life. Think and dream what you want in future. According to your goal you can plain. Because it makes you experienced, how to deal or face the circumstances which are hindrance of your goal. It is crucial to learn from other people, understand them, how can they make decisions in their life? Follow the principles of your mission and think about tomorrow what is needed to be done? On the other hand, always set your goal, be committed, give your complete time, and don’t let anyone to interfere your way. One of the most essential things to question yourself, what should I do for it? what are the possible ways to accomplish my destination? But the most important thing is to be mentally prepared. Keep working until you achieve your bright goal. Being proactive is simply taking responsibility because proactive people do not blame the situations, conditions or circumstances; rather they always find ways to blame themselves Put first thing first: Whatever is more important do it at first. Always manage your time because management of time is management of life. Time management plays a drastic role in one’s life. Until your time is managed, you cannot achieve anything in your life. Everyone has to be responsible and accountable since it is his own future. In the same way, whenever you are doing a task, you should see what is the most precious activity? Putting first thing first means having self-awareness and knowing yourself, your values, mission, goal, dreams and taking actions on time. We should always avoid those activities that are not essential and important in our lived. You are a self manager of your own time. Always have planning while we are doing something. Absolutely it shines in our life. Think win-win: It is one of the most important attitudes of a human being. Being successful in your life, it is necessary to think positive all the time. Rather you should always have a good attitude with other people. It shows that how mature you are. Think win win is not about being good, it is a character based on natures of human beings throughout the life. It is an act of great leadership which covers in one’s complete life like self-awareness, imagination as well as building great relations. Also character, maturity, abundance mentality, relationships and agreements play a crucial role for creating a strong relationship. Seek first to understand then to be understood: It is one of the most important habits for building a strong life. Listen to people carefully and sincerely. In fact, it is our ability to process to think, feel and understand mental status of the people. Many people do not listen well. They are not interested to understand others psyche. It is the nature of human beings that they listen less and talk more than that can be one of the reasons toward the failure. Most interesting, one has to take time and understand other’s thoughts, ideas and opinions because they can help one to be an effective person. Always is a good listener. It creates a mutual relationship. The people who you listen trust you most and share his feelings and emotions. Therefore, it builds a strong relation between two individuals. Understand others and act upon their ideas. Synergise: Teamwork is very an essential for a group. Because it organises work on a single agenda. By organising the power of the people, one can create a positive team. Combining the strengths of people which create a positive team. It is significant for every individual to work together with courage and determination. Face the hardships and difficulties together because it the sign of unity then it would be tough for everyone to break the strong team. It is one goal and everybody is putting their efforts and contributing. It creates thousands minds to focus on only one goal. Renewal: The last habit of highly effective people tells you that always renew yourself. Because without being renew or fresh, it is tough for you to be an effective person in your life. It is too much essential for every individual to be healthy and have a sharp mind. If someone is not mentally and physically fresh then it is too difficult to be creative and active in any situations. Without being renew, a person cannot take any sort of decision and does not know what to do in life. A healthy person knows better management of time and always try his best to create new ideas for being an effective person in life. Always have fresh mind since it is tough to focus the things with absence of fresh and healthy mind. The one who is seeker and reader should read the book which makes you able to be successful person in your life. Because it turns one’s life into paradise.
