Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, on Sunday, announced government’s plans to bring as many as 20 additional passenger-trains on track in different routes of the country to provide better travelling facilities to people. In his address in a ceremony at Hyderabad Chambers of Commerce and Industry, he said that tenders have been floated and railcars would start operating between Hyderabad and Karachi as soon as coaches become available. He also announced to launch a separate freight wagon from Hyderabad Railway Station under the Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry management. Published in Daily Times, February 18th 2019.
