Sir: It is dangerous situation in Pakistan that people use tobacco at public places which increase the vulnerability and diseases among people. Majority of people do not follow the policies and even government is not restricting users to avoid tobacco at public places. It has now become fashion that people use tobacco at public places. According to the National Alliance for Tobacco Control (NATC) and Aga Khan University (AKU) experts, tobacco kills nearly six million people each year in the world, of which more than 600,000 are non-smokers dying from passive smoking.
