LAHORE: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) on Saturday has certified the degree of Director General (DG) National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore Major (retd) Shahzad Saleem degree.
On December 24 Major (retd) Shahzad Saleem’s degree was sent to HEC for validation. HEC has authenticated the NAB DG Lahore’s degree, the NAB spokesperson said.
The NAB sources said that the degree of DG NAB Lahore Shahzad Saleem has been declared 100 percent authentic.
The Lahore director general of the bureau faced an internal probe over his alleged fake degree on the orders of the Supreme Court. Various political parties had termed Saleem’s degree as dubious and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had called on Saleem to present his degree to the press so that could verify its authenticity.
