Published on: November 21, 2018 5:27 AM

Almost eleven months of 2018 are gone and like every year some Bollywood releases impressed us, while some failed to meet our expectations. If we take a look at the box-office verdicts Bollywood movies released this year, we see much better numbers as compared to 2017.Let’s take a look at the top 10 Bollywood grossers of 2018.

‘Raid’stands at number 10. The movie starring Ajay Devgan and Ileana D’Cruz was based on a real life story and did decent business at the box office and collected a total of Rs 101.53cr.

‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ was the biggest surprise package of 2018. The movie with no big names was able to rule the box office for more than four weeks. The film starring Kartik Aaryan was able to make a total of Rs 108.71cr at the box office.

‘Raazi’was perhaps Alia Bhatt’s best work till date. She single handedly took the charge of the movie and performed beyond everyone’s expectations. The movie directed by Meghna Gulzar is a must watch for sure. The movie did a blooming business of Rs 123.17cr.

‘Badhaai Ho’was a big risk and a different kind of topic for Indian audience but the movie connected with the people in a good way. The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer has earned a total of Rs 125.80cr and is still running in the theaters.

‘Thugs of Hindostan’ was a disappointment all in all but still the star value of Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan was able to gather some money for the producers. The movie was released on a very large scale and so far it has collected a total of Rs 141.20cr.

‘Race 3’was again a big project of 2018 that led us down but it was the star value of the entire star cast that saved the producers. The Salman Khan starrer made a total of Rs 169cr and makes it to number three spot on our list.

‘Padmaavat’ is a master piece by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The movie went through a lot of issues before its release. The movie showcased exceptional performances from Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. The movie was a huge hit at the box office and earned a whopping Rs 300cr.
