ISLAMABAD: The body of a woman has been found in a room on 4th floor of residential apartment Silver Oaks within the jurisdiction of Shalimar Police.
The deceased lady had hired the flat 3 months before by introducing herself as police officer.
Sources told Daily Times that dead body of a woman Noreen Aslam Chaudhry had been recovered from room No 455 on 4th floor of Silver Oaks residential apartments. The body was found lying in bathroom.
Police sources said that the woman hailed from Karachi, however, she was living in this flat alone.
Sources said that this lady had introduced herself as police officer to Silver Oaks management 3 months before and she got this room on the monthly rent of Rs 78000. During these three months no one was seen entering into and going out of her room.
Police have taken the body into custody and shifted it to mortuary of PIMS for post-mortem besides launching investigation.
Youngster gunned-down: A youngster has been gunned-down within the Rawat Police jurisdiction.
A passerby spotted a body post Office at Chakri Road area in Rawat and informed police. The police reached the area and shifted the body to DHQ hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The deceased was identified as Abu Sufiyan, 13, hailing from Sialkot. According to police, the deceased was gunned-down while his body was later thrown near post office. The police have started investigation.
