ISLAMABAD: Ameer Jamaat e Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq has reiterated that we need to overcome corruption and reduce inflation with unity and discipline. While talking to press outside the Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday, he said that. “All the political parties would have to fight against corruption and price hike together. The Court had sought evidence from the rulers to find truth but it was being concealed” He said, “600 people are involved in the Panama scandal and every one of them should be held accountable.” He added that the second petition filed regarding the Panama case should also be heard so that, if need be, everyone including the opposition can be held accountable. JI had approached the SC so that a comprehensive mechanism could be evolved to cut of corruption from its roots, Siraj said. The JI ameer also prayed for the early recovery of Justice Azmat Saeed.
