The second and third matches will be played in Dubai on Friday and Sunday.
Earlier, Australia captain Aaron Finch won the toss and chose to bowl first in the first Twenty20 match against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi.
Finch’s side is unchanged from the XI that defeated the UAE by seven wickets on Monday.
The bowling line-up will consist of paceman Billy Stanlake, Nathan Coulter-Nile and Andrew Tye, with Adam Zampa and Ashton Agar to provide the spinning options.
Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam are scheduled to open the Pakistan innings, with the experienced Sarfraz Ahmed named as captain and wicketkeeper.
