ABU DHABI: After putting on sensational all-round performance at Asia Cup 2018, Afghanistan star Rashid Khan has clinched the number one spot in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) raking for the all-rounders in One Day Internationals (ODIs).

Rashid took 10 wickets in five matches and scored 87 runs at an average of 43.50 and clinched the top place by replacing Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan from the top slot.

Afghanistan were sensational, beating Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the group matches and then losing to Pakistan and Bangladesh in the eye-catchy last over finishes and tying the last match with India.

For his outstanding performance in Asia Cup 2018, Rashid gained six slots and earned 67 points, which put his on the top of the all-rounder rakings.

In the bowler’s ranking Rashid retained his number two spot. Indian bowler Jasparit Bumrah topped the ICC bowler rakings while Kuldeep Yadav clinched the 3rd spot in the list.

Babar Azam is the only Pakistani batsman in the top ten batsman list. Imam-ul-Haq and Shoaib malik reached 27th and 42nd place in the bating ranking.

Fakhar Zaman after losing three points maintained 19th spot in the batsman list.
