ISLAMABAD: Unconcerned people have occupied five expensive farmhouses worth more than one billion rupees and similarly one plot was occupied by a CDA official. The Enforcement Department of the CDA, instead of implementation of the order given by the chairman CDA to vacate the farm houses, gave time to their colleague for getting a stay order from the court. The Security Directorate reported to the chairman CDA and Mayor Islamabad Ansar Aziz that there are farm houses 19, 79A, 36A, 80A and other plots which were rejected by the CDA owing to illegal allotment. However these farm houses have been constructed now. The report stated that the matter regarding those farm houses are looked after by Draftsman Raja Zafar of the CDA who has appointed his own guards there making a boundary wall around the farm houses. The Chairman CDA directed the Enforcement Department to retrieve the farm houses from unconcerned people but said the department put the orders of the Chairman CDA in doldrums. According to documents available with Daily Times one plot is illegally occupied by an Afghan family while one farm house worth Rs400million is occupied by Raja Zafar. Reliable sources told Daily Times the master mind of the occupied land is Raja Zafar.
