ISLAMABAD: Former state minister for CADD Usman Ibrahim is enjoying all the perks and privileges entitled to a minister. In the past, the prime minister had carried out the reshuffling in his cabinet in which Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Ministry was taken back from Ibrahim and it was handed over to Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry. Nawaz neither gave any portfolio nor any additional charge to Usman, but he is using official car. Moreover he is also getting pay and allowances of a state minister. Usman is also attending cabinet meetings regularly and he is considered a member of the cabinet as no other minister had ever objected to his participation in the meetings. On the website of the Information Ministry, Usman’s name is not mentioned as a minister. When Daily Times contacted Usman, he refused to comment.
