MANSEHRA: A teacher and three students were electrocuted to death in Mansehra during morning assembly when an electric wire came in contact with an iron pipe on Tuesday.
The incident occurred during flag hoisting ceremony during morning assembly at a non-government organisation-run school in Mansehra, police said. The deceased were hoisting the flag when the iron pipe came in contact with an electric wire.
Three students and a teacher were killed as a result, while another teacher and a security guard were injured as they tried to save the children. The injured are being provided with first-aid facilities.
Police has initiated an investigation into the matter.
