Singer Zoheb Hassan took to Facebook and treatned legal action against late sister and singer, Nazia Hassan’s ex-husband. Hassan revealed that his late sister ’s ex-husband was in talks to make a film on her, “so he can feature himself and further profit from her name and fame.” The 51-year-old singer added that the Hassan family will be taking the legal route if any such thing is implemented. The post read: “The Hassan family has come to know that Nazia’s ex-husband is trying to make a film on her life so he can feature himself and further profit from her name and fame.” He added, “Anyone entertaining this individual shall be duly and legally sued by our family as he has no legal right or basis to do so.” “Furthermore, we hold full publishing rights of all our music worldwide and any attempted infringement of our catalogue shall be subject to legal cost and consequence.” Published in Daily Times, September 18th 2018.
