Asia Cup 2018: Hong Kong bowled out for 116 run against Pakistan

DUBAI: Hong won the toss and elected to bat first in their opening match against Pakistan.

Hong Kong is all out scoring 116 runs against Pakistan in 37.1 overs in the opening match of both side in Asia Cup 2018.

Aizaz Khan was the top scorer with 27 runs on the board. Usman Khan took 3/19, Hassan Ali 2/19, Shadab Khan 2/31 restricted Hong to 116 in their opening match at Dubai Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Pakistan

Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Sarfraz Ahmed (c & wk), Asif Ali, Shadab Khan, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Amir, Hasan Ali, Usman Khan

Hong Kong

Nizakat Khan, Anshuman Rath (c), Babar Hayat, Kinchit Shah, Christopher Carter, Ehsan Khan, Aizaz Khan, Scott McKechnie (wk), Tanwir Afzal, Ehsan Nawaz, Nadeem Ahmed

Six teams participating in the tournament include Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Afghanistan.

The match was started at 4.30pm Pakistan time in Dubai.

Pakistan’s national cricket team consists of 16-member squad which is currently in Dubai for the tournament.

On Friday, Pakistani Captain Sarfraz Ahmed said that the team will try to perform well in the tournament.

Yesterday, Bangladesh easily defeated Sri Lanka by 137 runs in the first match of Asia Cup.
