There is a reason why Pakistan is known as ‘unpredictable’ in the whole world. They can surprise you any time and that’s what Pakistan’s football team did. They didn’t have a physio, their captain was in Turkey playing Turkish league and their football federation suffered a lot from the political chaos in the country. But all these hurdles didn’t stop them from making into the semis of the Asian games.
Things were quite hard for them but their players performed when it needed the most. They needed to beat Bhutan with a good margin and they did that. They were able to trash Bhutan by three goals to nil and then their place was dependent on the result of Bangladesh vs Nepal.
Pakistan went lucky as Nepal were able to beat Bangladesh 2-0 which booked their place along with Pakistan in the semis of the competition.
The vice-captain who also scored against Bhutan was quite excited on the win.
“I’m just so happy, for new Pakistan, for new Pakistani football, just to happy.” He said.
