Ben Affleck has checked into rehab for a third time and will be seeking professional assistance for his addiction to alcohol, after his ex- wife, Jennifer Garner, staged an intervention, according to reports.
The ‘Gone Girl’ actor, who has previously been in a health center in 2001and 2017, reportedly agreed to enter a facility to get help.

Jennifer Garner was seen at the 46 year old actor’s Pacific Palisades home on Wednesday afternoon, before the couple and another person were seen leaving the house in a car, allegedly as Ben was driven to seek treatment for his alcohol issues.
According to a source, “Jen is proud of the strides he’s made, but some of his friends were worried he might be taking some steps backward and could be on a slippery slope. Ben wants nothing more than to get sober for his kids, for Jen and also for his career. He realises the dangers of what he could lose in life if he doesn’t stick to the programme, and dedicate himself to these big changes.”
This decision came just two days after paparazzi took photos of a box of alcohol being delivered to Affleck’s home, which strongly effected Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
Garner and Affleck split in 2015 after 10 years of marriage and share three children. The divorce is not final yet.
