JACOBABAD: A 35-year-old woman, who was allegedly kidnapped from Lahore on August 6, was recovered on Saturday morning by police in a state of unconsciousness from Qadirpur area of Jacobabad, according to the writing head constable (WHC) of the Moulabad Police Station. Reportedly, the WHC Manzoor Ahmed Soomro informed that a woman identified as Ms Asima was recovered from the house owned by Muhammad Khan Khoso. She was rushed to the Civil Hospital Jacobabad for medical attention. Subsequently, doctors took her DNA samples, and sent them to a laboratory to verify if she had been raped or not. Meanwhile, the police informed her heirs, who told that they had already lodged a complaint with the concerned police station about her disappearance in Lahore. She has three children and was kidnapped from the vicinity of Minar-e-Pakistan. Published in Daily Times, August 12th 2018.
