A man called the police for help after he was being chased by a baby squirrel in Karlsruhe, Germany.
The man called the police and told them “help, I am being pursued by a squirrel”, an official said via Twitter.

Right after the complaint, the police launched their own chase and caught the animal, after which it fell asleep. Police say the rodent has now become their new mascot and has been dubbed Karl-Friedrich.
The reason for such behaviour of the squirrel, the police said, was because ‘sometimes’ squirrels lose their mothers and often focus on people as replacement.
The animal is being well looked after in an animal rescue centre.
