LAHORE: Former captain Muhammad Hafeez is considering to reject the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) central contract offer after he was demoted from category A to category B.
In PCB’s latest contract offers, Muhammad Hafeez was demoted from category A to category B, which has reportedly ‘angered’ the former captain and he is considering to reject the offer and look for alternative options.

According to sources close to Hafeez, the player is being ‘pushed against the wall’ for quite some time now and PCB’s recent move to demote him is part of the same ‘conspiracy’.
Hafeez was quoted as saying that he has never played cricket for financial gains, but for respect and he will continue to believe in his principles.
The ex-skipper would rather stay at home than play cricket under such circumstances, sources said.
