LAHORE: An independent candidate, Rana Liaqat who was victorious from PP-39 has joined Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
In a meeting, he expressed full faith in the PML-N leadership. He previously was also a member of PML-N. Khawaja Asif was also present in the meeting.
PML-N and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) are combating intensely to form government in Punjab as both parties only have a difference of 6 seats. Jehangir Tareen has claimed that PTI has the numbers to form government in Punjab.
The PML-N leader, Rana Sanaullah has also asserted that they only need 18 MPA elects t form government.
PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif has called a party meeting later today to discuss the strategy pertaining to government formation in Punjab.
