Will JPNA 2 repeat history? The team that gave Pakistan its highest grossing movie Jawani Phir Naheen Aani (JPNA) few years back is now coming back with a sequel for it. This time around the cast of JPNA 2 is slightly different from that of part one. Fawad Mustafa, the heartthrob of Pakistan is making appearance in JPNA 2 and he is excited about his role in this movie.
The story of #JawaniPhirNahiAni2 revolves around the lives of four men and is full of comedy. The audiences can expect a fun-filled rollercoaster ride and complete entertainment for the whole family.
Talking about his upcoming venture, producer and lead actor of JPNA 2, Humayun Saeed highlighted that JPNA 1 is just pure comedy but its sequel JPNA 2 is a well thought out romantic comedy. “We worked for one and a half year to develop the script of JPNA 2; and came up with a romantic movie that has a lot of twists and turns to excite the audience.”
He further elaborated that In JPNA1 I helped my friends but in JPNA 2 we have reversed this and now my friends will help me.
Answering about a question regarding having a flare of Punjab Nahi Jayungi in JPNA-2, Humayun said that we have deliberately included a flare of PNJ in JPNA-2. PNJ is a well thought out romantic comedy,we have seen this formula getting accolades from public and to continue our success, and for that reasonwe decided to remain on the same path.
Humayun Saeed is of the view that this time relatively they have included maturity in this movie to bring families to the cinema. He himself visited many cinemas around Pakistan to observe what type of audience is coming to the movies produced by him. During his various visits to cinemas across Pakistan, he observed that people belonging to different strata of society come to cinema to watch movies and everyone reacted differently on various situation shown in the movie.
Humayun Saeed is delighted to have Fahad Mustafa in JPNA-2. Talking about Fahad’s role, he disclosed that in JPNA’s first part, “I was the shrewd man one who helped his friends but to avoid monotony, in the second part Fahad has taken over my mantle of helping friends.”

While talking about Pakistan’s cinema industry, Humayun Saeed said that in past five years, our cinema industry has made a giant leap. The process of improvement is going on and industry will reach new heights in coming years. He further said that every good film irrespective of its genre has future in Pakistan. Humayun is of the view that selecting people is also an art which most people are devoid of.

Fahad Mustafa the powerhouse of talent, informed this scribe that JPNA 2 is one movies which his heart and soul wanted to be a part of. He said that he asked Nadeem Baig about it and he invited him for the movie. Fahad thinks that the jelling together of JPNA’s team is the best part. “Every actor of this movie is a star in his own right but on the sets, everyone supported each other which is a good omen for our industry.”
Discussing stars working together, Fahad said that every actor brings his own audience like in JPNA Humayoun will bring his own audience and I will bring my mine and jointly we can play role for the betterment of Pakistan’s cinema industry. Fahad also informed that he and Humayun Saeed are planning to do another movie together.
In his thought provoking message to the cinema goers, Fahad Mustafa said “Just go and watch good movies don’t just watch Pakistani movies. We are now done with this sentiment of supporting Pakistani cinema. People should stop begging from cinema goers to watch Pakistani movies. Make good movies and public will come.”
Mawra Hocaine and Kubra Khan are also part of JPNA 2. Mawra had previously performed in Bollywood’s movie ‘Sanam Teri Kassam’ but JPNA-2 will be her debut movie for Pakistan’s cinema.
Mawra is playing the role of Zoyi in this movie. Talking about her character, she said that this character is very close to what she is in her real life. She further said that she has mostly played role of sad and depressed girl in many dramas but this character is bubbly and she loved her playing it. Mawra further said that JPNA’s team is the best team of Pakistan’s cinema industry and she is proud to have worked with them.
Talking about the music and dances of JPNA, she informed that their choreographers came from India to teach us dance moves. She is excited about the music of this movie and said that although this movie has various songs but ‘Aaja Lariye Li’ is her favourite track. Mawra is invigorated about JPNA-2 and hoped that public will love this movie and throng the cinemas in large number to enjoy her acting.
Moreover the presence of India’s actor Kanwaljit Singh is a unique feature of JPNA 2.
SarwatGilani is also part of this movie. Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 is shot in the most beautiful and exotic locations of Turkey and Dubai and is all set for a global release on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
