Two weeks ago Priyanka Chopra shocked everyone when she pulled herself out of Salman Khan starrer Bharat. The exact reason is still unknown but there are rumours that she got engaged with Nick Jonas on her birthday and she wanted some time to spend with him and the family. Ali Abbas Zafar, the director of the film was the first one to reveal that Priyanka has left. He took to Twitter and posted “Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more past of @Bharat_TheFilm and the reason is very special, she told us in the nick of the time about her decision and we are happy for her….. Team Bharat wishes @Priyankchopra loads of love and happiness for her.” Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special , she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her … Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life 😊😉😍 — ali abbas zafar (@aliabbaszafar) July 27, 2018 In a recent interview when Abbas was asked about Priyanka, he said that he has no grudges for her and he sent his best wishes for Priyanka and her upcoming ventures. He said “All my heart goes out to her and because she has been a good friend since a really long time and we get along really well. I would like say that I wish all the happiness and love. Hopefully I am going to see her soon.” Priyanka has been replaced by Katrina Kaif in Bharat which was quite obvious because Abbas has worked twice with Salman-Katrina jodi in Tiger Zinda Hai Franchise.
