LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday claimed that it will complete the required setas for the formation of Punjab government by tonight. The party’s spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry told the media that four more candidates have pledged to be a part of PTI. Chaudhry further claimed that the total number of PTI’s seats for the provincial assembly will reach 140 by tonight. Moreover, the party is contacting independent candidates in Punjab, he added. On the other hand, sources reported that Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) will form an alliance with PTI. A PML-Q delegation is scheduled to meet PTI Chief Imran Khan at his residence, Bani Gala, later today. They are expected to add eight seats to PTI’s total number of seats for Punjab Assembly. Out of eight candidates, seven belong to PML-Q while one is an independent candidate who joined the party earlier.
