Navjoot Sidhu says Imran is solution to Pakistan’s problems

Published on: July 29, 2018 5:30 PM

LAHORE: Former Indian cricketer and politician Navjoot Singh Sidhu on Sunday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan ‘is solution to Pakistan’s problems and unstable political situation.’

“Imran Khan is someone who believes in unity and not divisions, and he is the right person to lead Pakistan,” Navjoot said.

Continuing his praise for the PTI chief, Sidhu said that Khan’s greatest quality is that he is pure and honest.

“You can not buy such quality in the market. This was the quality that lead Pakistan to a world cup win, and this will lead Pakistan to prosperity too,” he added.

Sidhu said that it is due to his hard work and perseverance that Khan was going to be Pakistan’s next PM. “I have never seen a more hard working cricketer or personality,” he continued.

Not only Sidhu, several other renowned names from the world of cricket have forwarded their best wishes to Khan after his party’s performance in elections 2018.

Earlier this week, during a press conference a day after elections 2018, Khan said that he was willing to work to improve ties between Pakistan and India. “If India take 1 step towards us, we will take 2,” he said.
