Cricketing fraternity congratulates Imran Khan

The former captain of Pakistan’s World Cup winning team in 1992 and the incumbent Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan is likely to become the prime minister of Pakistan after attaining the majority seats in general elections 2018.

Since his victory address on TV channels all over the world, his social media account has been overloaded with congratulatory messages.

The Current and former cricketer from Pakistan and all over the world congratulated Imran Khan via twitter.

West Indies Cricketer Ian Bishop said, “My heartiest congratulations to the new Prime minister of Pakistan; Prime Minister Imran Khan. Proud to know an outstanding former player could achieve such an important role in leading one’s country. May he lead with integrity and by example. Inshallah” via tweet.

Former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev also congratulated the PTI chief and said in a video message that Imran is a born leader and he hoped that Khan can help his country.

Moreover, former England captain Michael Vaughan, Ex-Sri Lankan cricketer Russel Arnold and other cricketers congratulated him via tweet.
