Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has telephoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and congratulated him on his party’s victory in the general elections.
The Afghan president also invited Khan to visit Kabul.
PTI chairman accepted the invitation and expressed his wishes to visit Kabul soon.

In the telephonic conversation, the both leaders discussed Pak-Afghan relations and agreed to ‘overcome the past and to lay a new foundation for a prosperous political, social and economic future of both countries’.
