Yasir Hussain responds to criticism for not voting

A lot of prominent names of Pakistani media industry were unable to vote in the general elections as they have flown to Toronto for the rehearsals of Hum Awards that are planned to be held on the 28^th of July. These celebs included Mahira Khan, Hania Amir, Yasir Hussain, Humayun Saeed, Atif Aslam, Ahmed Ali Butt, Mikaal Zulfikar, Hareem Farooq and Kubra Khan.

 

These celebrities received a lot of backlash not only from their fans but also from their colleagues. Farhan Saeed and Imran Abbas called out the celebrities that chose to fly abroad for work or vacations during election time.

 Pakistani actor and writer Yasir Hussain took to his Instagram account and expressed his feelings regarding the criticism.
