Pakistan’s premier MMA fighter Ahmed Mujtaba launched a local mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion, Prime Fight Series, with the partnership of Fitness Fight Club Gujrat, the first event of which is going to be held on Sunday. The inaugural event of Prime, titled Clash of the Titans, will consist of 7 professional MMA fights and 5 amateur ones, while there will also be a couple of Muay Thai battles on the night.Fighters from Russia and Afghanistan are also set to battle alongside local fighters, who aim to make a name for themselves in the country’s growing MMA industry. Speaking about the event and its importance, ex-UGB featherweight champion and Pakistan’s top MMA talent Ahmed Mujtaba said: “I see all the fighters from Pakistan as my family and it’s my responsibility to do something for them.
