Strings to join Meesha, Fawad as Pepsi battle of the bands judges

Published on: July 7, 2018 10:15 PM

Pepsi battle of the bands season 3 is set to commence from July 15 as Meesha Shafi, Fawad Khan and Strings ready themselves to lead the charge with aspirants set to rock the country with their tunes.

A teaser video released by Pepsi shows Meesha Shafi collaborating with last season’s runner-ups Badnaam along with Fawad Khan’s secret performance. To add more spice to the contest, BoB hit the right chords by appointing Strings as judges along with Fawad and Meesha for the next season.

Moreover, the comeback of Junoon was also hinted, and who knows, there could be a whole lot more surprises. Additional reports suggest that Strings will also be performing their all-time hits including ‘Hai Koi Hum Jesa’, while as far as the performance of Fawad Khan goes, the singer-turned-actor is expected to perform alongside 17 musicians who are the likely contestants of BoB this year.

According to a press release, the season 3 of Pepsi BoB will feature a diverse genre of bands, including two bands with female leads. More than 400 bands are said to have auditioned for this year’s music gala.

Speaking about BoB’s season 3, Pepsi Pakistan Senior Marketing Manager Saad Munawwar said: “The third season of Pepsi Battle of the Bands is just around the corner and we are proud to present to you another exciting Season of the show through which we have taken the responsibility of reviving the band culture in Pakistan and providing the opportunity to our young musicians to showcase their talent in front of the entire nation.”

The teaser also included last season’s winners ‘Kashmir the band’ but it is not yet clear whether we will see them perform or not.
