KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday vowed to construct 3 metro bus lines in addition to the already under-construction Green Line metro project in Karachi.
Speaking to various delegations from Karachi, PML-N chief Shehbaz said that he will be contesting elections from the city since it is the heart of Pakistan and the country’s economic hub.

The ex-Punjab CM added that Karachi is a populous city and that it must have had 10 metro bus lines to counter the prevailing transportation problems. He vowed to construct 3 metro bus services in Karachi if the public give him a chance.
He said that Pakistan’s 60 percent population consists of youth and that for development of the talented youth of Pakistan, the PML-N will direct the State Bank of Pakistan to provide loans on easy conditions.
Shehbaz also spoke about the importance of constructing the Bhasha dam and said that the project will be one of PML-N’s priorities.
