ECP declares 5,398,622 voters eligible from Lahore. Are you one of them?

LAHORE: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issuing polling scheme for Lahore has declared a total of 5,398,622 voters eligible for deciding the political fate of the city in the upcoming general elections.

According to the polling scheme issued by the ECP, a total of 3,012,260 male and 2,386,362 female voters will cast their two votes for one seat of National Assembly and one seat for Provincial Assembly from their concerned area.

For Lahore, the District Returning Officer has designed a total of 3,887 polling stations in which 1,232 would be fixed for male voters and 1,162 for female voters while 1,493 are established as joint polling stations for male and females in different constituencies.

As per ECP’s plan, Lahore has been divided into 14 national and 30 provincial seats and almost two provincial constituencies are falling in a National Assembly constituency in the district while two constituencies also fall with three provincial constituencies.

Daily Times also collected a data of voters separately registered into all 14 NA constituencies along with the details of polling stations and booths divided into those for male and females across the district of Lahore.

In NA-123, total 397,399 voters including 227,033 male and 170,366 female voters are registered and total 299 polling stations with 945 booths including 535 male and 410 female booths are planned.

In NA-124, 522,226 voters including 294,647 male and 227,579 female voters are registered and 415 polling stations with total 1,047 booths including 602 male and 445 female booths are planned.

In NA-125, total 474,021 voters including 262,542 male and 211,479 female voters are registered and total 353 polling stations with total 1,075 booths including 594 male and 481 female booths are planned.

In NA-126, 434,088 voters including 237,570 male and 196,518 female voters are registered and 325 polling stations with total 880 booths including 499 male and 381 female booths are planned.

In NA-127, 410,731 voters including 231,894 male and 178,837 female voters are registered and 272 polling stations with total 854 booths including 485 male and 369 female booths are planned.

In NA-128, 337,872 voters including 194,140 male and 143,732 female voters are registered and 248 polling stations with total 726 booths including 434 male and 292 female booths are planned.

In NA-129, 391,860 voters including 215,516 male and 176,344 female voters are registered and total 275 polling stations with total 803 booths including 455 male and 348 female booths are planned.

In NA-130, total 472,553 voters including 250,846 male and 221,707 female voters are registered and total 350 polling stations with total 999 booths including 535 male and 464 female booths are planned.

In NA-131, total 353,720 voters including 193,850 male and 159,870 female voters are registered while total 242 polling stations with 688 booths including 394 male and 294 female booths are planned.

In NA-132, total 306,100 voters including 185263 male and 120837 female voters are registered while 252 polling stations with total 681 booths including 393 males and 288 females’ booths are planned.

In NA-133, 361,799 voters including 198,500 male and 163,299 female voters are registered while 247 polling stations with total 773 booths including 426 male and 347 female booths are planned.

In NA-134, total 260,200 voters including 150,944 male and 109,256 female voters are registered while total 196 polling stations with total 549 booths including 303 male and 246 female booths are planned.

In NA-135, total 243,689 voters including 134,207 male and 109,482 female voters are registered while 185 polling stations with total 527 booths including 292 male and 235 female booths are planned.

And in NA-136, total 288,276 voters including 169,846 male and 118,430 female voters are registered while 226 polling stations with total 625 booths including 370 male and 255 female booths are planned.
