Daily Times learnt that former MNAs Ghulam Ali Nizamani, Sardar Ali Gohar Mehar, Sardar Kamal Khan, Faqeer Sher Muhammad Balalani, Talat Mahesar and Muhammad Aslam were not satisfied with the distribution of tickets that they parted ways with PPP. From the constituency of Badin, former MNA Ghulam Ali Nizamani of PPP has joined rivals Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) after holding talks with Zulfiqar Mirza. Another former MNA, Sardar Ali Gohar Mehar from Ghotki also rebelled against PPP and joined GDA after he met with Peer Pagara and stated publicly to contest election from the platform of GDA. Moreover, former PPP-MNA Sardar Kamal Khan submitted his nomination forms as independent candidate for NA-229. Faqeer Sher Muhammad Balalani from Tharparkar also expressed disappointment with PPP and has opted to contest as an independent candidate.
