LONDON: Doctors on Tuesday informed the Sharif family that Begum Kulsoom Nawaz is in a critical condition.
According to sources, Kulsoom Nawaz’s condition will be reviewed after 40 to 70 hours.
Hussain Nawaz, talking to the media outside the hospital said that the family was praying for Begum Kulsoom, he urged the nation to pray for his mother’s recovery as her condition is still unstable.
He added that the former premier had a six-hour long meeting with the doctors, after which the doctors had decided to keep Kulsoom Nawaz on life support until the next review of her condition.
Hussain said that his father should stay with his ailing mother at least till the time she’s on the ventilator.
Maryam Nawaz also commented, will teary eyes that her mother was not well, urging everyone to pray for her speedy recovery.
Earlier, on Monday the doctors along with the Sharif’s had to decide removing begum Kulsoom from life support, which is still pending.
The grief-stricken Sharif family is going through a difficult time as Begum Kulsoom has been unconscious and on life support since June 14 after suffering from a cardiac arrest.
Former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s wife has been battling with throat cancer since the previous year and is undergoing treatment in London’s Harley Street Clinic.
